Projects Day

Today the teams were in different Churches doing some service projects.  The two Churches that we went to were Moores and Summerfield.  Both Churches were in need of a paint job and so the Nebraska AIM team set out to meet the needs.  What was really neat was that following the painting the teams were able to minister to the people of the Churches!!!

I have talked about what God is doing in the people of the Churches and the Schools that we have ministered in, however God is ministering to the students that are one this missions trip!  On Monday we were able to have a service just among the AIMers where Pastor Bruce Riddle shared from God's Word.  During that service Pastor Bruce asked for some testimonies, and one of the students shared that God was giving a new start for her life and she no longer feared the future.

What a blessing it has been to see how God is using the students of Nebraska here in Jamaica!

One quick testimony from the team that went to Moores Assembly of God.  At the end of the service the altars were opened for people who needed a physical healing.  A man came forward who said he could not hear 100% from his right hear.  The students prayed for him and the Holy Spirit opened up his ear!  The man said that everything was louder when the team was done praying for him.  Even the Pastor of the Moores Church came for healing on her shoulder and when the students finished praying she was able to lift her hands and praised God!!!

God is doing a wonderful work in and through the 2009 Nebraska AIM team!  Thanks you for your prayers!!!

Pastor Mike Maroney
